The Leadership Moment: April Issue - Three Communication Skills Every Leader Must Possess

“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” ― George Bernard Shaw. Having just finished coaching my 13 year old daughters soccer team, I can confirm that Mr. Shaw’s statement is in fact 100% accurate. No matter how or what I communicated, it simply did not register with the girls.

Communication is critical to success in anything we do, which is why the April issue of The Leadership Moment focuses on the Three Communication Skills Every Leader Must Possess. Developing excellent communication skills is absolutely essential to effective leadership. Ultimately the three subsets of communication (self, private and public) begin with the conversations we have with ourselves. Our ability to confidently convey our ideas has a lot to do with how we see ourselves, our preparation before speaking, and how we understand and manage our emotions.

This issue highlights -
